Inside Outside Cards
Props Needed: Inside Outside Cards or paper cutouts shaped like people and craft materials such as scraps of material, markers, glue, construction paper, scrapbooking paper.
Set Up: Ideal for groups 1–30. These cards make a great springboard for a discussion of human features and characteristics, both inside and out. Invite each participant to pick a card with a skin tone color that best matches them.
Process: What is unique about me? After picking their card ask participants to
decorate the front of the card (the flesh-colored side) with paint, markers, or cut paper.
Remind them to pay attention to details like hair, eye color, clothing, accessories
(glasses, jewelry), freckles, birthmarks, etc.
